My Comments:

The only problem I have so far is with its ability to handle fast trades. Sometimes the execution lags a bit. And the spread increases from time to time. But that is acceptable when news are breaking out. So far, I’m happy with this broker and I recommend them and sticking with them for the long term. Simply because of the $30 welcome bonus and other bonuses. Any kind of bonus is very important for a successful forex trading, any money added to your capital is helpful.

75 % of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs

My comments

The best feature of eToro is the ability to copy a trader’s trade. So it becomes easy to be profitable. The only problem is to find who are the best traders. If you are starting out and wants to know how an expert trades, I highly suggest using eToro not just for the copy trades, but for the wealth of information its community share with other traders.

If you become an expert trader, you can also earn money when people copy your trades. So there’s a lot of potential if you stick with eToro.

Thanks for the info ForexPhil. I’ve been searching for the most legit platform to use. So far I did come upon Etoro and Instaforex. I have tried both with their demo platforms and they’re quite good. It doesn’t matter to me if they offer bonuses and such. What I’m really after is the stability of these companies that they won’t run away with our money.
a friend of mine also recommended GKFX and Admiral Markets. Both have offices here in Makati along Ayala avenue. I haven’t visited their office yet though I work just beside the office building of GKFX.
I’m still learning the ropes in Forex. I’m currently using Candle Sticks, Ichimoku, Stochastics and Fibonacci. I’m still having trouble identifying the entry points and exit points resulting to poor assessment and projections. The swing highs and swing lows. Kumo breakouts. Identifying trends. Support and Resistance points. So lost.

  • ForexPhil

Hi Terence and welcome to my blog. I agree with you. Stability of the company must be a priority. The brokers listed here are just recommendations. Of course you can still choose whatever broker you like.

About your trading. Hang in there. If you get enough screentime and experience, you’ll realize that in time, those entry signals will jump in front of you.

Or you could discuss your problems with other traders on our forum. We’ll be more than happy to help you out.

  • Mark

Hi, I’m researching about Forex and I can say that it really is very inviting. Although I am having second thoughts and reservations as well (I guess you can’t really take that out of the picture). I just want to ask a question. I did a little research about your recommended forex brokers. I’ve read both good and bad stuffs. Of the two, I’m eyeing XE Markets as a possible broker, but there is this article i’ve read that this broker is holding withdrawals. How was your experience with this broker so far? Did your withdrawals went smoothly? Can you please shed me some light on this. Thanks.

  • ForexPhil

I never had problems with any of the brokers I use so far. If I did encounter any bad service, I would have immediately posted it on this blog.

  • Ken Michael Jon Taarup

Hello, ForexPhil! Any feedback about IronFX? I’ve heard about them though I’m not sure if they are as good as the brokers you suggested above. Thanks!

Hi Just want to know if Iforex in the Philippines is good. Cant find local numbers to call though.. All toll-free overseas numbers. Is it a scam like what Im getting from searches?

  • ForexPhil

I also heard bad things about iForex. But I don’t have any experience with them to make a proper review. I’m pretty much content with my brokers and I don’t plan to move or try another as long as they are not taking advantage of me.

You can try the brokers on this page. I’m pretty happy with their service.

Really great service! I have been working with this company for several years, but never had situations that would be impossible to resolve. I think that most of the negative stories were specially made by some competitors… I don’t even think to change the broker.
